Okay, so there’s a funny story with this head over heels couple.

Kyle and Ali may look like a stunning beachy couple that I was blessed to have as a KB Couple but they are so so much more. Kyle and my husband have been BEST friends since college. See what I did there? Not just best friends. BEST friends. Deployments, moves, Army trainings, and babies have not stopped the “Hey bro, you on?” nightly text and all of the big talk that happens over Xbox headsets. Little did I know I was marrying into a package deal that included Zack and xbox adventures/conversations/stealing all of his coins on castle crashers/needing to constantly revived on COD zombies with Kyle.

There was one day that was a little bit different. It started with “I met this girl” and a whole conversation with how incredible she was. They were going to go out again and to hear the excitement in his voice meant that this was something real. Soon most of the talk became “Ali and I” and then “when I propose” and then “the wedding”. All I could think of is that I couldn’t wait to meet this incredible woman that had stolen his heart! Imagine my excitement when not only did I get to meet her, they asked me to photograph their big day!

Meeting Ali was one of my favorite parts of their big day. She is incredibly kind, so so sweet, and one of those genuine people that feels like your friend immediately. Her beachy vision for their wedding at the Sonesta Hilton Head was brought together so perfectly with the hint of blue hydrangeas and beachy details that were perfectly placed throughout their wedding. They picked this incredible venue because Kyle grew up visting Hilton Head Island and Ali lives there. It was so special to them both! They wanted a relaxing wedding where friends and family could come and enjoy the beauty of the island and they definitely succeeded. It was seriously perfection!

Their piece of advice to planning brides? “Remember: IT IS YOUR WEDDING!!! There will be stress as a couple during the planning, and outside influences. Just remember it is your wedding and to stick by one another to work through stress.”

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Callahan! I cannot wait to have more backup to turn down their terrible ideas and for destroying their KD ratio on COD zombie matches with you Ali! Until then, enjoy St. Lucia with your hubby! <3
