I knew these two were special when I met them for their engagement session. Frolicking through waves, sitting in the sand, and some fun giggles made it a session I will never forget! So here on their wedding day they seriously ROCKED it!

With soft touches of green and whites their color pallet was sophisticated and perfect for their late summer wedding. Based on the Cape Fear River, River Landing was the perfect venue for their wedding! The white sand ceremony site on the riverbank truly POPPED with all of the greenery on the arch and chairs. Then don’t even get me started on the open air reception space! It was truly spectacular!

The most touching moment? Berkleigh released a letter written to her father on balloons to Heaven for him. This special man was present in so many aspects of their wedding and was with her every step of the way <3

Their advice to others in the wedding planning process – Find what and who it is that makes you happy and just go with the flow. Don’t overcomplicate things. Nobody’s story is 100% perfect-and perfect is boring anyway! Appreciate what makes your story together as a couple unique-even the messy, complicated stuff. You have the power to create your own happiness, your own peace, as a couple-no matter what that looks like to anybody else. & when in the thick of the wedding planning process- don’t stress on every single detail. Nail down the big stuff and PRAY. It will be what it will be and you have to make the decision to find the good in every moment. You will never get these moments of your life back-so don’t focus solely on an outcome or an endpoint. The JOURNEY is where you find out what you’re made of.
