What is my style? I'm a candid and VIBRANT photographer.

Candid? That means no "hold that smile and look at the camera" type of photography. We get the smiling image for Grandma first and then after that it's all about you two! Natural giggles and snuggly poses that make you look back on your images and see your true personalities! You guys are not just my clients, we are friends!

I'm not a photographer who just shows up on your wedding day. I'm with you through the whole process! I'm here to help with vendor recommendations, timeline guidance, bridesmaid dress colors/styles, and anything else you can think of! When I say "I got you", I mean it!

It's normal for my brides send me their dress photos (I never argue with seeing that gorgeousness!), we plan surprise moments together, and I'm here to give you peace of mind on your wedding day. Rain? I got you. Drunk groomsmen? I got you. Dress fluffing? I got you! I'm here to serve my couples however I can!

Where do I even begin with Kaitlyn? She is truly THE BEST wedding photographer ever and an even greater friend to have on the most special day of your life! She is the most selfless person and genuinely wants to capture your day (or in our case days) for a lifetime of memories. We are forever grateful she chose to fly halfway across the world to Santorini, Greece in order to be there for not only us, but capturing the special moments of ALL of our guests!!! From the moment I saw Kaitlyn's photos, nothing compared. I did my engagement and wedding photos with her and I was BLOWN away. My family and friends cannot stop obsessing over the photos. We had a lot of great vendors at our wedding, but having Kaitlyn as our photographer was hands down the best decision we made! She made me and my husband so comfortable during our engagement shoot and was understanding when we had to reschedule last minute due to a flight delay. She has all kinds of poses up her sleeve and really makes you enjoy the experience of taking time to snuggle in close and celebrate your love. My husband said it was one of his favorite pre-wedding events! She's extremely knowledgable about how to plan out your big day to get the best shots in the best light and her planning forms are very detailed to collect all the information she needs to make sure you get every picture you dream of. When extra pictures were requested by family the day of she accommodated graciously. She captured our relationship perfectly... and took some incredible glamour shots that make us like models! She's so talented, but also incredibly warm and genuinely excited for you. I can't recommend her enough!

When I say I shopped for a wedding photographer, I mean I SHOPPED. Not ashamed to say I looked at over 100 photographers comparing price, style, and reviews in the TN/NC/KY area because it was so important to us to have great photos. We couldn’t be more grateful to have found KB photography! If you’re looking for someone with a light and airy style, someone who can easily direct you but take suggestions, who is professional but ultimately fun and adventurous- seriously look no further. She made our engagement and wedding sessions a breeze, but the cool part was how many compliments I received about her attitude and personality from my wedding guests- such a gem! You're ENGAGED!! YAS! So you know what we do next? Celebrate that ring on your finger with an epic session! Engagement sessions are so important to me because I feel more like a friend than a stranger on your wedding day. We have already frolicked around a field or town, you know what poses I'm having you do, and you and your fiance feel more comfortable with me on your wedding day. It's a win-win-win!

OH! And one more thing! Do you think you or your fiance are "awkward" in front of the camera? You would be SO shocked at how many people tell me how they are awkward or don't know any poses. But what do you have? ME! I got you! I can promise you that you are not awkward and once we start rollin' through poses, you are going to feel like models (especially guys and their Vogue face!)!
